The graduation ceremony of the 53rd cohort of the Salesian Vocational Training Institute marked another important milestone highlighting the pivotal role of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in developing qualified national talent. The sponsorship of this occasion by the National Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training reflects its continued commitment to supporting TVET institutions and enhancing the quality of their outcomes.

The Mayors of Beit Anan, Al-Qubeiba, Qatanna, and Kherbet Umm Al-Lahm participated in the launch of the initiative implemented by the National Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, the Ministry of Labour, and the Lutheran World Federation, through a vocational awareness meeting in the Northwest Jerusalem area.

Within the framework of the directives of His Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, aimed at strengthening the resilience of Palestinian citizens in marginalized areas and areas threatened by the policies of occupation and settlement, particularly in Jerusalem Governorate, the National Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training held a consultative workshop with the heads of the local councils of the ten villages northwest of Jerusalem, whose population exceeds 80,000 residents. The workshop was held with the participation of the Ministry of Labour, the Lutheran World Federation, Jerusalem Governorate, and the Technical and Vocational Employment and Training Council in Jerusalem Governorate.
