The National Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training, in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, organized a field visit to the Directorate of Education in Hebron, with the participation of the Ministry’s Director General of Vocational Training, Eng. Jihad Dreidi.
The delegation was received by Mr. Atef Al-Jamal, Director of the Directorate. During the visit, discussions focused on the current state of vocational and technical education in the governorate and ways to further develop vocational schools in line with the Ministry’s strategic directions and the evolving needs of the labor market.
The visit also included field tours of several vocational schools to assess their current conditions and needs, and to explore mechanisms for developing infrastructure, equipment, and training programs. These efforts aim to enhance the quality of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and improve its outcomes.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing joint efforts and strengthening coordination between the National Commission and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in order to reinforce the role of vocational and technical education as a strategic pathway for preparing qualified national professionals, meeting labor market needs, and supporting sustainable development.
