The National Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training Conducts a Field Visit to Inash Al-Usra Society and College
The National Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training conducted a field visit to Inash Al-Usra Society and College, as part of its commitment to gaining first-hand insight into the reality of technical and vocational education and training institutions, closely identifying their development needs, and exploring ways to support them and strengthen their national role in serving students and the community.
The Commission’s delegation was headed by H.E. Dr. Rabeh Morrar, President of the Commission, with the participation of Eng. Hisham Salama, Vice President of the Commission. The delegation was received by Ms. Ruba Khalil, President of Inash Al-Usra Society, along with the staff of the Society and the College.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the key programs and specializations offered by the College, as well as the qualitative achievements made by the Society and the College in the fields of education, training, and serving targeted groups. The visit also included discussions on technical and development needs related to programs, equipment, and the educational and training environment.
The two sides also discussed prospects for joint cooperation in a manner that would contribute to developing existing programs, aligning them with labor market needs, enhancing the quality of outcomes, and expanding opportunities for students and trainees to acquire practical and vocational skills.
Both sides agreed to continue working and coordinating through the Commission’s technical team, with the aim of examining the identified needs and proposing practical development pathways that would contribute to strengthening the College’s capacities and supporting its programs.
The National Commission reaffirmed its continued openness to working with national and civil society partner institutions, in a spirit of integration and cooperation, to develop the technical and vocational education and training system in line with development priorities and labor market needs.
